Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose Eau de Parfum for Women

Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose Eau de Parfum for Women

Elisabethan Rose Perfume by Penhaligon's, In 1984, the women’s fragrance Elisabethan Rose was released . This fresh and herbal perfume opens with a blend of aldehydes and geranium. The middle notes contain subtle violet, rose and chamomile for a light powdery tone. The scent closes with a warm combination of amber, musk and sandalwood. Michael Pickthall is the designer behind this aroma.

In 1870, Penhaligon’s was established in Britain by William Penhaligon. This company was first
established as a barbershop until 1872 when the first fragrance was offered. The small shop maintained operation until The Blitz of 1941 during World War II. The shop was destroyed, but the fragrances remained popular.

Fifteen years later, the company was granted a Royal Warrant by the Duke of Edinburgh for its contribution of high-quality toiletries. A new store was finally established in 1975 in Covenant Gardens. The brand now offers a selection of luxury grooming, shaving, bath and beauty care products.
